The challenges themselves are of interest to all cancer nurses; I will spend some time reflecting on how far we have come; maturation and differentiation in children's cancer nursing that defines nurses; Nursing/trends%X It is an honour to be the first children's nurse to be asked to deliver the Robert Tiffany Lecture. However; that of growth and evidence in action. Firstly; the essence of which is knowing about children and young people.
